Enfield Council are looking for two Community Engagement Managers to spearhead the design and delivery of robust engagement programmes for Journeys and Places projects. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in designing and delivering community engagement programmes on high profile projects. This is a largely public facing role and requires collaboration with project managers to design and deliver robust communications and community engagement programmes. We are advertising for two roles, one Community Engagement Manager who will oversee engagement for Journeys projects and one Community Engagement Manager who will oversee engagement for Places projects.
The successful candidates will be an experienced facilitator and communicator with skills in best practice community engagement and in working with a multitude of senior stakeholders. They will be strong project managers with the ability to think strategically as well as deliver projects with a high attention to detail. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in the evaluation and reporting on engagement findings data.
This role requires a high level of initiative in order to deliver timely, effective and creative engagement with the community in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a high level of personal organisation, a high proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and a willingness to learn and operate internal IT systems.

The post holders will need to work in the Enfield Civic Centre for a minimum of three days each week. There will be some evening and weekend work required when delivering community engagement events and activities.
The Community Engagement Managers will be part of the Communications and Engagement Pillar in the Journeys and Places team and report to the Communications and Engagement Lead.
