Our drama activities are open to all, particularly welcoming disabled people and those experiencing various kinds of disadvantage. Herts Inclusive Theatre are looking for a part-time Community Engagement Manager to join their small Hertfordshire based team on a 10-month fixed-term contract to cover Maternity Leave. The Community Engagement Manager’s responsibilities include: Supporting the income generation of the organisation by finding and managing commissioned projects with councils and other organisations. Overseeing the content of the inclusion training. Managing the speech bubbles programme and other school project work. Coordinating storytelling and other creative promotional events. Facilitating the staff, freelancers, and volunteers annual training programme. The role would primarily be based at the HIT Office which is currently in St Albans; we do offer flexible and hybrid working. The role requires the applicant to regularly travel between the office and workshop/performance venues around Hertfordshire and North London. The post will be for 18 hours per week worked over two, three or four days, with an expectation that most of this is carried out between 9am – 5pm, but flexibility is available. This is a fixed-term 10-month contract between 1st October 2024 and 31st July 2025.
