As a Community Health and Wellbeing Advisor we can offer you: Salary: Band 4, £27,975 - £31,641 per annum (pro-rate for part time) Hours: 22.2 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term until November 2025 What will my role be as a Health and Wellbeing Advisor? The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high-quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes working with the Integrated Neighbourhood Team to advise health and social care staff about appropriate community and voluntary sector activities which support self-care and better management of long-term conditions by working in partnership with key stakeholders and other service providers within the local community and voluntary sector. What do I need to have? Qualified to GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English Extensive experience working in a health, fitness, arts or wellbeing community-focused development service Experience of working with diverse communities Experience of undertaking public or community consultation exercises An understanding of the barriers experienced by different groups within a community in accessing local services Ability to motivate and support people living with long-term health conditions Strong commitment to customer care and the provision of a quality service Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills As an organisation, we encourage an environment which is inclusive to all; therefore, we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and with all different kinds of life experiences.
