This office-based role supports the Housing Operations team and will oversee the delivery of maintenance, compliance and improvement across the state-wide property portfolio. You will also: Prepare maintenance orders on Chintaro and/or relevant maintenance system, where necessary Distribute maintenance requests to Private Landlords, and Uniting contractors using Coupa and/or relevant system. Prepare and collate invoices for reimbursement from private Landlords, contractors and/or other relevant stakeholders Maintain financial records, such as accounts payable and receivable transactions and budget monitoring Manage maintenance complaints Travel to properties to assess works, prepare scope and provide access to contractors Benefits of working at Uniting

While we ask that you work from the office to enhance our supportive and collaborative team culture, you will have flexibility with your working hours. In addition to a salary equivalent to SCHADS Level 5 + super, you can access the following: An extra 17.5% on top of your fortnightly pay when you take paid annual leave Ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits which can be used for living expenses such as rent, groceries, bills, clothing, and much more Up to 10 weeks paid parental leave 10% discount for eligible employees on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning Service Your skills and experience
You will have demonstrated experience in housing & property management, as well as: Knowledge of legal aspects relation to tenancy/property management including Victorian Residential Tenancies Act 1997 Knowledge or understanding of the Housing Regulatory system Knowledge of property maintenance and repairs Experience in the community housing and/or homelessness services sectors (highly desirable) Current Victorian driver’s licence (essential) View the position description here How to apply
