JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Telford.
The pay for this position is GBP20-GBP23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Minimum Requirements: Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
Main Duties of the Job:
Provide specialist Occupational Therapy Assessments and interventions. Provide specialist consultative knowledge and support to the MDT. Work flexibly, taking responsibility for your own caseload of service users and occasional care coordination. There will be a balance between generic and profession-specific work, including a team duty role. Liaising with various stakeholders both written and verbally. This role will require you to create new and imaginative ways of communication. Your role will involve working closely with other agencies, families, carers, and local communities. You will be able to function autonomously in multidisciplinary teams, with supervision from the Clinical Lead and support from specialist Occupational Therapists as well as the wider team.
