£30 per hour (assignment rate) Job Type & Hours:

Locum contract and full-time Main duties of the Paediatric Nurse: Work closely with the members of the Community Paediatric service in developing, implementing, and monitoring care provided to children, young people and their families. Be a key member of the ADHD multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with Consultant Paediatricians and other health professionals. Work autonomously, taking the lead in preliminary assessments of new referrals using the agreed assessment tools and analysis of the resulting information. Undertake and record observations within schools, clinics, and home settings. Act as a Non-medical prescriber for ADHD related medicines, in line with NMC, NICE and national guidelines around medicines optimisation prescribing. Requirements of the Paediatric Nurse: RGN qualified/NMC registered with valid live pin. Recent UK nursing experience. Must have Paediatric/Children/School Nursing experience. Evidence of continuous professional development within the last two years. Independent/ Supplementary prescriber (V300). Principles of physical health assessment qualification.
