Jupiter Artland is an award-winning contemporary outdoor art gallery located just outside Edinburgh. Founded in 2009, it is now home to over 30 permanent site-specific sculptures and has grown into one of Scotland’s most significant arts organisations. With an international reputation for innovation and creativity, Jupiter Artland delivers a seasonal programme of carefully curated exhibitions, learning programs, and events that showcase and champion a plethora of artists, both emerging and established. The beating heart for Jupiter is the Learning Foundation. This role will be within Jupiter+, the nationwide community-embedded satellite project that brings world-class art and innovative learning to High Streets across Scotland. The mission is to broaden access to contemporary art and encourage young people to find their voice, be proud of their community, and spark ambition towards a vocation within the creative industries. Within Jupiter+, there is an innovative project called Orbit that seeks to amplify the voice of Scotland’s youth through a residential programme of learning and mentorship that places them at the helm of decision-making and empowers them towards success. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implement the Jupiter+ project and its strategies to form agency and creative activism through art for every child in Scotland, securing locations and producing learning spaces. Instigate, develop and maintain relationships with project partners, stakeholders, local authorities, charities, and relevant voluntary organisations. Coordinate and develop relationships with schools and learning groups within the relevant project counties. Manage and recruit project freelance staff. Undertake and secure fundraising grants bids and funding applications. Develop, implement, and control the project budget. Analyse and develop project data reports. Coordinate the mentorship programme. Work within the Marketing & Communication Team to ensure programme strategies and content are successfully promoted to target audiences, partners, and stakeholders. General Requirements:
Attend and participate in staff meetings. Must drive and hold a full driving licence. Comply with Jupiter Artland’s policies and procedures as set out in the staff handbook, including health and safety, equal opportunities, and environmental sustainability. Undertake any additional tasks that may from time to time be reasonably required. This is an on-site role. Desired Qualifications:
Degree-level qualification in a relevant creative arts subject. Experience of delivering community-embedded creative projects. Experience of developing reports. Deadline:
