Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity?

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Band 4/5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their Initial Response Services team in Lancashire. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality mental health care and ensuring effective risk assessment and management within a dynamic 24/7 service.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct ongoing accurate assessments of risk posed by service users to themselves or others. Effectively communicate risk assessments to other professionals involved in the service user's care, including those outside mental health services, as appropriate. Ensure the effective management of risk, employing robust strategies tailored to individual needs. Manage risks in unpredictable environments, often without immediate support from other mental health professionals. Maintain clear and concise documentation to support continuity of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional mental health services. Keyworker to manage a caseload for Older Adults with varying mental health issues, co-morbidities, and complex presentations, including: Carrying out assessments, reviews, interventions, and completing discharges alongside relevant documentation to support. Proficiency in the use of RiO documentation. Administering depot injections. Completing multi-disciplinary reviews in the community and inpatients on Mental Health Act sections. Liaising with relevant members of the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to support patient care.

Pay Rates: Days: £18.50- £21 per hour Nights/Saturdays: £24.84 - £28.29 per hour Sundays/Bank Holidays: £29.21- £34.51 per hour

Requirements: Professional qualification as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN). Proven experience in mental health risk assessment and management. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations within a 24/7 service model. Strong communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Commitment to delivering person-centered care in line with best practices.
