A vacancy has arisen for a Registered Nurse – (part one of professional register) to work within the District Nursing teams based within Falkirk Health and Social care Partnership.

This is a community nursing post which includes flexibility in shift patterns including weekends and public holidays.

To apply for this post it is desirable that you have some experience of nursing in a community setting and treatment room. It is desirable that you have clinical skills in the areas of wound management, catheter care and palliative care including end of life care. An understanding of Anticipatory Care Planning is desirable. The aim of the post is to focus on prevention, anticipation and supported self management to enable everyone to live longer, healthier lives at home or in a homely setting. NHS Forth Valley are supportive of lifelong learning. Training will also be provided during induction to the successful applicants.

It is essential that you are a good communicator and show that you work well within a team and also are able to function autonomously using your skills and initiative.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
