JustOT are recruiting for an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, to work with our well-respected client based in Berkshire.
We are looking for a Full-time locum OT needed for Physical Disability and Older People (PDOP) in Adult Social Care (ASC).
The PDOP Team works closely with other teams here in the service who are involved with the delivery of Adult Social Care. The PDOP team forms part of the Living Well Service of ASC where the Mental Health and Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) team are also members.
About the role
You will manage a caseload of individuals requiring functional assessments and identify necessary interventions which may include manual handling, equipment and adaptations, to make a real difference to our service users. You will also be required to complete mental capacity assessment and risk assessments to ensure needs, wishes and best interests are identified. Some support on our busy OT Duty may be required. You will need to be available for home visits and be able to base yourself in Reading at least 2 days per week. The pay rate for this role is £38.00 per hour. Hours & Days to be Worked
