Exciting opportunities are now available to join the Bexhill District Nursing Team. We have busy and varied caseloads, and you will be visiting housebound patients in their own home. You will be well supported in Practice to enable you to develop a large range of clinical knowledge and skills. Good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You must be able to travel independently in a timely manner. These provide integrated multi-disciplinary services, supporting individualized patient care and the needs of the local population. Main duties of the job

Deliver Nursing Care as part of a team. You will support the District Nurse in the delivery of an efficient/effective nursing service. You will have responsibility for assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care whilst working autonomously as a lone worker. You must be able to travel throughout the locality in a timely manner, carrying equipment/staff with you. You must have access to a car and hold a current driving license. Qualifications/Training

RN with current Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration ENB 997/998, Learning through Mentorship module, or commitment to undertake Experience

Generic Pre Registration Experience in a care environment Understanding of community nursing Previous experience of caring within a community setting Knowledge/Skills

An understanding of clinical governance Principles of infection control Awareness of current nursing trends and changes in the NHS Ability to demonstrate up-to-date clinical skills Ability to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care Disclosure and Barring Service Check
