What you will be doing:
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Day to day duties will involve supporting residents with a variety of daily living skills, such as shopping, cooking, budgeting, independence and medication, all the while adopting a person-centred approach that empowers the resident in being involved in all aspects of their care and decisions made in relation to their individual recovery plan.
Tydfil House encourages all residents to go about their day as independently as possible, with each resident requiring different levels of support. You will join a team that respects the autonomy, dignity and privacy of those who reside in our service. You will continue to provide the required support in order to help our residents achieve positive progressions in and toward their care pathways.

We are advertising for a part-time position, 22 hours per week over a 7 day period.

Llantilio Pertholey, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, NP7 6NY You will be working at a rehabilitation and recovery service for people who have been diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. Working as part of the experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will support service users through every stage of their recovery journey within the hospital’s five individual units. Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park and close to the market town of Abergavenny, South Wales, the hospital is within easy reach of the M4, M5 and national rail networks.
