Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community based Care Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes in the Marchweil/Bangor on Dee area of Wrexham. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our individuals, particularly those with dementia and other health challenges. This role does require a car driver, and unfortunately, we are unable to accept people who require sponsorship. You will be working with a well-established team, where all the individuals require care and support with 2 staff, so you are never on your own. At Hapus Home Care, we are dedicated to not only supporting the individuals who we care for but also dedicated to supporting our staff. All positions will be subject to suitable enhanced DBS and references. We offer good rates of pay starting from £12.50ph, and enhanced rates at a weekend. We pay for travel time from client to client at £12ph and mileage at 35p per mile. All we ask is that staff are fair with their availability to cover some early and some late shifts, along with working every other weekend. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as per prescribed guidelines. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Assist with mobility, ensuring safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate staff. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Experience Previous experience in patient care or a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training and shadowing will be provided. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others are crucial for success in this role. Relevant qualifications in health or social care would be beneficial but are not mandatory and are offered to all applicants on completion of their probationary period.
