Community Volunteer Coordinator - Citizens Advice Cheshire West
Salary: £27,334 pa (Depending on experience) Hours: 37 hours per week Closing date for applications: Wednesday 24th April 2024 This is a new project focused on developing and establishing a team of community volunteers in underrepresented areas of Cheshire West and Chester (initially Lache, Leftwich, Malpas, Neston) to help residents who are finding it hard to access information about the services and support available to them and develop the skills of volunteers to improve employability and/or wellbeing. Key responsibilities To coordinate, support and develop volunteers across multiple community venues to provide a face to face information service. To maintain a productive ongoing relationship with the community venues. To collaborate and support the project as it expands. About you You will have proven experience of successfully supporting a volunteer team. You will have contributed to volunteer onboarding and training volunteers and will be able to develop a positive team environment through ongoing engagement and recognition of the value of volunteers to the service.
