Well established and growing manufacturing business are looking to appoint a Qualified / QBE Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Group FD you will be responsible primarily for the production of monthly management accounts as well as group and statutory reports. Duties will include: Responsibility and control of the bank accounts including foreign currency Responsible for the VAT and Intrastat reporting Cost analysis as well as inventory calculations Controls the company’s fixed asset register Responsible for the group company tax calculations Involvement in company annual Audit Ad hoc project reporting This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven accountant who really wants to take their career to the next level. Ideally, you will have a manufacturing background along with the capability to get involved at all levels. Strong communication skills are a pre-requisite as are excellent / advanced Excel skills.
