About the role: Support to develop and administer payroll and compensation and benefits (C&B) processes with the objective of accurate and timely employee payments in line with payroll process guidelines and local legislation requirements. To provide support, guidance and technical advice to other key stakeholders to ensure a timely and responsive payroll service. To work collaboratively with the Pensions Department to produce statutory returns and ensure broad compliance with statutory regulations. Focusing on the payroll administration of all company benefits, including but not limited to, Cycle-to-work, Pension, Private medical, company car. Support to develop and administer Reward programs, position descriptions, salary surveys and develop and conduct analyses to align employee pay levels with the external and internal value of jobs as well as employees’ performance in line with business needs, Rewards plans, best practices and local legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have: More than 2 years’ experience within HR, Payroll or benefits related administration with exposure to relevant key aspects of HR processes including Talent, C&B, ER / IR, etc. Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation – PAYE, NI, Minimum wage, salary sacrifice, etc. Familiarity with pension scheme administration and compliance requirements. Familiarity with P11D processes as well as payrolling benefit processes (PMI, company cars) Significant experience of providing advice and guidance to team colleagues and proven experience of building and maintaining relationships in order to elicit information from key individuals. Experience with utilising reports for compliance checking – advanced level of Microsoft Excel is required including formulas such as IF/SUMIF statements, lookups and the use of pivot tables in order to analyse and report findings clearly and concisely. Ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs. Self-motivated, well-organised, self-reliant, and resilient. Responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace. Ability to display initiative to resolve problems. An understanding and experience of implementing service quality and process improvement methodologies. Able to articulate and evaluate the value created by processes delivered within the organisation. What about career development?
