Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Competition Solicitor to join their highly regarded Competition Practice on a temporary basis for approximately six months. This role offers the opportunity to work on a busy and diverse caseload, including a significant advisory project for a major global technology company renowned for its innovation and industry leadership. Key Areas of Expertise The group's expertise covers the full spectrum of competition, regulation, and trade matters, including: Cartel and other behavioural investigations Merger control Antitrust advice Competition litigation (private enforcement and appeals) Regulatory matters State aid, public procurement, WTO, and trade The Role This position will primarily focus on non-contentious matters, although the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on contentious cases, particularly private enforcement and competition disputes. You will contribute to some of the most complex and high-profile matters in the field, working alongside a market-leading team. Candidate Requirements 1+ years of post-qualified experience in a well-regarded UK or European competition practice. Expertise in key competition areas, such as merger control, behavioural investigations, and antitrust advice. Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a keen ability to manage complex legal matters. A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment. Why Join?
