If so, we have a fabulous new opportunity to work with the St Catherine’s Hospice Therapy Team and lead on the development of Complementary Therapy in the Hospice and within an expanding Wellbeing Service.
This role would suit a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who enjoys service development and working with a multidisciplinary team, patients, and volunteers.
This is a new service, and the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the service, ensuring the best possible care in collaboration with the MDT, and ensuring the patient and their family are at the center of decision-making regarding their care.
You will be required to plan, deliver, review, monitor, and evaluate the Complementary Therapy service at St Catherine’s Hospice. You will also support and assist in the recruitment, training, support, and supervision of our complementary therapy volunteers and trainees.
You will be responsible for providing risk-assessed complementary therapy treatment for individuals and groups in our hospice setting and in the community.
This Fixed Term Contract post is offered on a part-time basis, working up to 30 hours per week. Our core hours are 08.30 – 5pm, Monday to Friday, but we are open to discussing flexibility across the working week.
