If you want to work with Care First 24 are currently seeking a Complex Care Assistants who can access the Bournemouth area on a new package of care.

We are offering market leading pay rates and are looking to build a supportive care team to work with this young person.

You will be supported by our inhouse Paediatric / Children’s Clinical Lead as well as experienced Paediatric / Children’s Care Coordinator in delivering a solid care experience for the young person and families involved.

Care First 24 are a complex care provider for both physical and mental health needs across the UK and support those with PHB’s, CHC funded, case management as well as private clients. We work with all age and all types of care, and we understand that healthcare can bring with it a lot of emotions, and many of our clients are going through some of the most trying times of their lives. We provide kind, compassionate, and patient support that ensure the client feels comfortable and safe in our care. We will provide tailored care and support. In high-pressure situations, we strive to be a calming force that can make a positive difference.

Tasks Medical history:

Cerebral Palsy with mixed spasticity and dystonia GMFCS Level V

Neonatal hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy

Profound learning difficulties

Gastrostomy fed with fundoplication

Visual impairment

Structural epilepsy

Previous dislocated left hip and subluxation of right, surgery 2014

Botox to hamstrings and adductors July 2017

Scoliosis under surveillance

Previous sepsis, Pseudomonas and Serratia Marcescens infections

Requirements Skills needed :

Chest physio – PEP mask

Oral suction

Seizure management and emergency medication

PEG feeds

Medications

Observations

Manual handling
