COMPLEX CARE HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

to join our team.

Responsibilities: Deliver personalised care and support aligned with the service user's care plan, focusing on their unique health conditions and needs. Assist with advanced personal care tasks, including mobility support, continence care, medication administration, and nutritional needs. Provide specialised care for complex healthcare needs. Promote a nurturing, empathetic, and safe environment that enhances service users' quality of life and comfort. Use electronic care systems to log care tasks, health observations, and any changes in the service user's condition accurately and promptly. Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection control measures, and manual handling practices to ensure a safe environment for service users and yourself. Commit to ongoing professional development through company-provided training programs and external certifications. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience as a carer, ideally within complex care or domiciliary care settings. Knowledge of Scotland's Care Inspectorate regulations and the associated quality standards. Competency in using electronic care systems for accurate documentation and reporting. Training and certification in areas such as manual handling, infection control, medication administration, and basic life support (or willingness to undertake these). Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required. Confidence in managing the demands of complex care, including emotional resilience. Full compliance with disclosure checks and professional references. Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent preferred. Job details: Flexible hours available! Pay rate: Negotiable. Permanent position for the right candidate.
