Social network you want to login/join with: Our training is delivered to you in house with our own clinical lead nurse and it is paid training so you start earning from day one! We can have you working as quickly as your DBS check is completed; there is no lengthy wait for a start date when working for us! You will be caring for a lovely gentleman who lives at home in Bolton with his wife and two grown-up daughters. He is non-verbal and completely paralysed, so complex care experience would be an advantage. 2-3 times per year, we like to take a break at a holiday cottage in Hambleton, Lancashire, where you would be expected to cover your regular shifts that week with fuel expenses paid for you to return home each day. We need punctual, reliable individuals who can show and use their own initiative, sometimes working alone or as part of a team. You must be a good communicator and have a “can do” attitude, and even better if you have a great sense of humour and a love of sport! It is beneficial but not essential that you hold a full and clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, due to the location of the workplace and shift patterns, and have at least 3 months of care experience in the UK. It is even more beneficial if you have experience with complex care interventions like Tracheostomy, peg care, and communication issues, and be familiar with moving and handling equipment. If you think you have the special characteristics for this caring and rewarding role, supporting someone to fulfil their independence, please apply now! We would love to hear from you and discuss this opportunity in more detail. If you have any questions, please do get in touch! You will receive: £13.75

per hour day rate and

£14.85

per hour night rate, with an enhanced bank holiday rate of

£18.75

per hour A pension if eligible 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata Full certificated training on all aspects of the role completed in the workplace. We can offer part-time or full-time hours, day shifts usually cover the hours

8.00am – 5.00pm

and night shifts of 9 hours are also available. Minimum of

20 hours

per week available (worked over 2 days) and up to

40 hours

per week, plenty of overtime available. Actual days of work and shift hours can be discussed at interview stage and negotiated for the right candidates. You will be expected to work weekends on a rota basis and there is the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness.
