Complex Health Care Assistant – Gosport

Position: Complex Healthcare Assistant Location: Gosport School Support Pay Rate: £15.50-£17.00 Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-15:00 term time only to support and finish at school in Fareham. Nights: 1 week day night and every Saturday night available. Please note that Unity Care Solutions offer zero-hour contracts with flexible hours, subject to availability at the start of your employment. You may also have access to a range of shifts and alternate locations. Important: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Role Overview: We are looking for dedicated Complex Health Care Assistants to join our team in Gosport and Southampton, providing night-time support for a 7-year-old paediatric client with complex health needs. This role includes caring for the client’s tracheostomy, administering gastrostomy feeds, providing regular medication, assisting with personal care, and managing manual handling tasks. In addition, we are expanding our team of complex care workers to a 2:1 HCA team. This is a term-time-only position, with shifts beginning and ending at the client’s school in Fareham. Experience with tracheal tubes is required; however, we provide comprehensive training for those with general tracheostomy knowledge.
