Full/Part Time positions for Complex Homecare roles

Looking for a new care role where you can broaden your professional development?

Join our team of Home Carers to help provide person centred care and assist people in their own homes.

Our client is a young man who leads a very busy and active life, in spite of his physical disability. He lives independently, in his own home, with the support of his established care staff.

You need to be kind, compassionate and fun. Are you someone who would engage in a wide variety of activities? Someone who is well organised and can think on their feet, who can blend in with our client and his wider family? Someone who is energetic and likes a job where every day is different? If so, we would love you to join the team!

You will receive nurse led complex training to give you the skills and confidence to carry out the role.

Expectations of the role:

Personal centred care to our client, providing the high standard of care you would wish your loved ones to receive.

Providing personal care (including bathing, dressing, toileting).

Supporting our client with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.

Administering and documenting medication.

Documenting care activities through our app and reporting any changes in conditions to our branch team.

Supporting with housework, such as meal preparation or shopping.

Companionship for our client, supporting their wellbeing and building a trusting relationship.

Alcedo Care has been rated top 20 homecare provider in the UK for 5 years in a row by our clients, a testament to the work of our amazing care teams. We are a family owned company, and operate with family values at the heart of everything we do.

What we offer:

Mileage, holiday pay and pension scheme paid separately to hourly rates, not hidden!

Flexibility to the days you work, allowing you to have a rota that suits your other commitments.

Blue Light Card, offering thousands of discounts on things from groceries to holidays!

Reward and recognition schemes, including annual carer awards.

Access to FREE confidential 24/7 wellbeing and mental health support.

Genuine healthcare career progression opportunities, including full support to complete NVQ qualifications.

DBS Payment Scheme available (GBP10.80 deposit once accepted job offer, following weekly payments of GBP10).

You must be 21 to apply for this role with a Full, Clean UK Driving Licence. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also be required to provide satisfactory professional and/or character references.
