Salary: £27,395.97 per annum Summary

We’re super excited to be on the lookout for a

Compliance Administrator

to join our team in

Swarcliffe . It’s a role with meaning, so you’ll be making a real difference to thousands of customers' lives with what you do. And what about us? Here at Yorkshire Housing, our customers are at the heart of what we do – we call it being customer obsessed. In a nutshell, we own and manage nearly 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire, and our mission is to make it possible for our tenants to have a place they’re proud to call home - and that’s where you come in! So, who are the

Swarcliffe

team? Well, they’re responsible for reactive, void, planned maintenance, and compliance works of 1400 properties working closely with

Leeds City Council

under the

Swarcliffe PFI

contract. What you’ll be doing

You’ll provide administration support for the technical team, processing and raising orders, arranging customer appointments, identifying and documenting lifecycle works, evidence gathering, diary management of property surveyors, and ensuring that contract information is up to date and contractors' queries are answered. You‘ll liaise directly with contractors, LCC compliance, and housing colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the voids process and produce correspondence, schedules, reports, and spreadsheets using office PC systems. You’ll take responsibility for the planning and scheduling of work for the multi-skilled operatives in the team and site-based staff. You will assist in monitoring the compliance inbox, take ownership of tasks to ensure compliance, and ensure compliance reporting is completed and up to date. Also, you’ll provide excellent customer care and, if necessary, deescalate potential complaints and use persuasive skills to educate customers on the need for compliance/repairs that need to be undertaken. What we need from you

You’ll be assisting in planning, scheduling, and tracking compliance works (e.g. Gas Safety checks, fixed wire testing, unvented cylinder checks, solid fuel and oil checks, PAT testing, Fire and Smoke Alarm checks), so it would be great if you had experience dealing with compliance works. You should be able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, have excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make great decisions for the benefit of the customer experience. You’ll demonstrate experience working quickly, with attention to detail while maintaining accuracy in output, and have excellent analytical skills. What’s in it for you?

In return, we offer

£27,395.97

per annum for a 35-hour week, 25 days annual leave (raising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays. We also work (truly) flexibly and believe work is something you do, not somewhere you go. But that’s not all. We offer a reward package to suit everyone. In the current climate, you’ll know all about the importance of financial wellbeing. At YH, you can claim back for prescriptions, eye tests, and more with our cash plan, make the most of a variety of retail discounts, and take advantage of our pension scheme where we’ll match your contributions up to 9%, just to name a few. Our people’s health and wellbeing are our top priority, and at YH, you can make the most of our readily available wellbeing support package. This includes access to Perkbox’ Wellness Hub as well as a My GP service and free counselling with Health Assured. So, now you’re really interested?

At YH, we’re actively building a work environment that’s inclusive as well as diverse, where everyone can contribute their best work and be themselves. We believe difference is what makes us stronger and recognize the importance of our teams reflecting the communities we serve, so we welcome and encourage candidates from all backgrounds for this role. We know that not all candidates will meet every single desired requirement. If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you, please go ahead and apply! If you require additional support with your application, or have any further questions, please contact our recruitment team via email. The fine print

This role will close on the
