JOB PURPOSE: The Compliance Coordinator is a broad role and will take responsibility for the maintenance and development of a range of programmes within the Compliance Team. CONTEXT: The primary and overriding aim of the Compliance Coordinator is to support the HSEQ & Compliance Manager and Senior HSEQ & Compliance Coordinator in implementing, improving and sustaining the business compliance management systems. DIMENSIONS:

Based within the Company’s Head Office in Rackheath Norwich with possible travel to sites in Harlow and Manchester on occasions. RELATIONSHIPS:

HSEQ & Compliance Manager and Senior HSEQ & Compliance Coordinator Daily Interaction with: Commercial Director Operations Directors Depot Managers Sales Staff & Office Administrators Customers & Suppliers Fleet Operatives Operations operatives PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Own, improve & maintain the current training management system in its entirety including record management, training needs assessments, training matrix, and all training course material. Assign and administrate basic courses using our online training system & run training reports for management. Support in reviewing HSEQ and compliance documentation. Administrate excel-based systems for tracking HSEQ Compliance across the business. Manage external providers ensuring that all documentation held is current and applicable. Manage PPE and first aid supplies across the business. Carry out weekly and monthly checks including but not limited to fire alarm checks, first aid box checks, fire extinguisher checks, and spill kit checks. Support as required with supplier questionnaires. Book statutory examinations. Manage hire plant for the business. Manage the company hazard identification program (See it, Sort it, Report it). Manage the engineering action program. Complete monthly waste reports. Complete weekly site tours. Build the preventative maintenance program. Manage safety critical service visits. Carry out such other responsibilities and activities as can reasonably be required in accordance with the nature of the post. Self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and ability to make autonomous decisions in line with company procedures. The successful candidate must want to continuously improve and better themselves, with ambition to push themselves hard to see the best they can achieve. QUALIFICATIONS: IOSH managing safely (preferred) Good standard of Education (GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths) (Essential if other qualifications above have not been obtained) SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience working with ISO management systems; however, candidates with no previous experience would be considered provided they can demonstrate a strong work ethic and a drive to learn new skills on the job in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working in the waste industry would be ideal; however, other industries such as Manufacturing & Warehousing would be beneficial. The ideal candidate would also need to have strong knowledge of working with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (Essential). The assets essential for this role are the following: A full driving license held for a minimum of one year. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong time management skills and a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to be flexible and work away from home occasionally. Self-motivated and able to make autonomous decisions in line with company procedures. As a Compliance Coordinator, you will be expected to continue to obtain qualifications within the business. These qualifications will be supplied by the company and are subject to HR procedures. Job Types:
