Unum are hiring a Compliance Advisor to provide compliant regulatory guidance and business partnering support. Ensuring customers receive good outcomes, and that the regulatory expectations are met. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, influence and negotiate across all levels. The candidate will play a vital role in promoting a culture that prioritises Conduct Risk and positive Customer Outcomes across all company activities. In this role, you will ensure the continued protection of sensitive information by adhering to all Information Security policies and procedures, as well as identifying and reporting any potential weaknesses in security controls. You will oversee the Compliance Mailbox, providing timely and accurate responses to regulatory queries from the business, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of FCA and PRA requirements and standards to ensure our operations meet all necessary compliance obligations. Candidates with experience of compliance audit or have worked in a regulated sales environment will be viewed advantageously, or with an excellent understanding and awareness of the UK financial regulatory framework.
