Our client is currently recruiting a Compliance and Data Protection Specialist who will ensure a safe, secure, legal and compliant facility, whilst also providing facilities management for their processing facility. Responsibilities Provide support to the Operations management team to assist with throughput and productivity of the warehouse and meet all sales targets as defined by MD. Deliver consistent improvements in the client’s ability to test, specify and achieve revenue from Used IT. Drive strategies across testing and spares generation processes that deliver measurable increases in revenue per item processed. Maintain all security, quality, and environmental accreditations. Ensure the client has correct environmental licenses and permits by understanding the reporting, physical handling, and renewal requirements. Provide strategic direction to the business on basic legislative compliance and the implications of planned new legislation on our activities. Provide overall Facilities Management and Strategy. Work with the Operations Director to assure a safe environment and zero health and safety incidents. Implement an effective fire prevention and fire-ready environment. Ensure maintenance of the Biomass Boiler and measurement of energy/fuel usage for this and solar panels. Minimise environmental impact by supporting initiatives to maximise waste stream recycling. Possess a working knowledge of company requirements and policies for health & safety, quality, environmental & information security systems, and others as appropriate. Must be able to pass a Disclosure Scotland basic check. Experience Warehouse or production leadership. Technical leadership. ISO Auditing (9001, 14001, 27001) or similar accreditations. Technical environment experience. Good organisational skills. Good leadership and team working skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business.
