The Trust's Compliance & Assurance Administrator will provide efficient, professional, and comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Compliance and Assurance and across the wider Corporate Governance Senior Leadership Team as required and during busy periods.
The post holder will be part of an experienced and professional team and will be responsible for the accurate preparation of high-standard written materials and for maintaining records, which will include handling sensitive and confidential staff and patient information. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all methods of communication, including diary management, on behalf of the Head of Compliance and Assurance.
The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the Assistant Director or Director, liaise with other departments on behalf of the Assistant Director or Director and their team, and assist and support colleagues as required.
Main Duties of the Job Providing administrative support to the Head of Compliance and Assurance across their whole portfolio. Working flexibly to meet the administrative needs of the service and the wider team, supporting colleagues as required. Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships at all levels of the Directorate and the Trust. Initiating and preparing correspondence in relation to policy, Freedom of Information requests, audit tracker, governance registers, and public inquiries. Supporting the Corporate Governance Manager with Board effectiveness reviews during busy times of the year, particularly Q3 and Q4. NB: The above list is not exhaustive, and there will be opportunities throughout the year to support other work streams within the directorate.
