Compliance / Regulatory Engineer . The role involves researching product compliance, monitoring EU Directives and regulations, and working with UK Government websites to ensure adherence to legislative requirements. This position requires collaboration with engineers across European subsidiaries and Japan, ensuring product documentation is complete, accurate, and legally compliant. The role also involves addressing technical customer queries and may include future training to become an internal auditor under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and interpreting EU Directives, regulations, and UK legislation. Writing detailed technical reports and maintaining accurate product documentation. Responding to technical queries from customers. Collaborating with internal teams across Europe and Japan. Potential future involvement in internal audits and compliance checks. Requirements: Essential: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or a related field in law or sustainability. Experience in report writing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Competency in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel occasionally within Europe. A curious mindset with a passion for learning. Desirable: Experience with standards, regulations, and directives. Previous work in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with test houses or notified bodies. Internal auditor experience.
