Compliance Engineer

to join our expanding team. This is a full-time

permanent

position based at our manufacturing facility in

Wrexham

working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. The Role Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining/updating in-house test reports and maintaining technical files for new & existing products. Duties Involve: Reviewing change requests and updating technical files as required. Conducting necessary safety tests in accordance with IEC61010 & EMC to support product changes. Updating & creating new in-house test reports to support product changes & new products. Liaising with external test laboratories to support required tests for technical files and new products. Assisting with regulatory authorities to coordinate 3rd party certification as required for customers such as NRTL, UL/CSA Field evaluation. Monitoring and coordinating the response to compliance findings such that they are closed within the agreed timescales. Reviewing electrical drawings, manuals, and documentation. Providing additional support for the creation of test procedures as required. The successful

Compliance Engineer

will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Minimum HNC level in Electrical Engineering along with 18th ed wiring regulations. Knowledge of all electrical documentation and regulatory requirements of the following: LVD (Low Voltage Directive), EMC Directive, WEE & ROHS is essential. Solid knowledge and understanding of IEC61010. Knowledge of EMC testing desirable. Experience in the creation of IEC test report (TRFS) & critical component lists. Experience in-house testing using various electrical test equipment. Experience in the use of Altium, SolidWorks Viewers to review circuit diagrams & mechanical drawings. Component/workshop experience desirable. Right to live and work in the UK.
