Compliance & Ethics Manager - (Hybrid Sheffield or London)

This leading national logistics business is seeking a Compliance & Ethics Manager to help shape and implement their compliance strategy and to support their commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities of the role: Provide expert advice on compliance and risk management, with a focus on anti-bribery, competition law, sanctions, modern slavery, and corporate offenses. Investigate compliance incidents and oversee risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities. Drive a culture of compliance and ethics, delivering training and guidance to coordinators, champions, and high-risk teams. Collaborate with Legal, Operations, and Security teams to ensure effective cross-departmental compliance processes. Monitor compliance controls and assess their effectiveness through detailed risk assessments. Requirements for the role: Qualified to degree level with a background in law, or a qualified auditor, accountant, or enterprise risk manager. 18 months + of demonstrable experience in compliance, risk management, or advisory roles, ideally in regulated environments. Have a ‘can do’ attitude. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex compliance concepts to senior stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. There is a hybrid working model (3 days in the office) from either the London or Sheffield office. There is a good base salary, 10% bonus, significant pension contributions and other benefits.
