The Opportunity Olsam are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Consumer Goods Product Compliance Expert with a breadth of category expertise including: hard goods, homeware, outdoor, pet, personal care, accessories and household electronic appliances. This role is critical in ensuring that our product listings remain compliant with all regional regulations across the US, EU, and UK, together with platform-specific requirements, specifically Amazon, Shopify and Bol.com. Key Responsibilities Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain and update the Compliance Dashboard in Amazon Seller Central, ensuring inventory complies with US, EU, and UK regulations.

Identify compliance risks, propose solutions, and ensure products remain listed and compliant on Amazon and Shopify.

Conduct gap analyses of compliance documentation, coordinating with Supply Chain and factory partners to arrange required testing and certifications.

Oversee proper product labeling, packaging, and inserts, ensuring all regulatory and intellectual property requirements are met.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance actions and updates in Amazon’s dashboard.

Prepare regular reports on compliance efforts, highlighting risks or issues affecting product listings.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Development to update SOPs for new product development in line with compliance requirements.

Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure shipments meet compliance standards, arranging Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI) as needed.

About You Minimum 2 years in a compliance role, with expertise in Amazon compliance requirements.

Familiarity with US, EU, and UK product compliance regulations, labelling and traceability, including UK CA/CE-marked products, EPR, EPREL, Market Surveillance, and GPSR.

Proven experience managing compliance from concept to manufacture and throughout the product lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, including managing compliance dashboards and updating product specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Business, Law, or a related field preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively.
