Job Description Prestige Staffing are seeking a Compliance Officer for our fast-expanding recruitment office in London, servicing London and the Home Counties.

As a Compliance Officer, your primary role will be to guide talented Support staffs through our compliance process.

Responsibilities

Contacting relevant organisations to obtain references. Checking all registration and vetting information is present and correct, including right to work, DBS checks, qualifications and proofs of address in line with Apsco Compliance Plus standards. Working alongside consultants and branch manager to finalise candidate onboarding. Liaising with candidates to complete their registration with us. Liaising with professional bodies, Local Authorities, private clients and candidate referees to obtain needed documentation. Database upkeep, ensuring candidates are regularly contacted and updated on their onboarding. Working with the Compliance team management and directors to ensure the highest compliance standards, with all legislation changes, sector changes and company policies/procedure updates.

Person Specification As a Compliance Officer, you will be targeted on your ability to check and finalise candidate onboarding in an efficient and thorough manner in line with the highest standards of vetting.

In general, some key skills we look for are: Great verbal communication skills. An ability to think on your feet and think creatively. The right mindset! Determined, honest and flexible with the determination to do the right thing.
