Compliance Manager

to join their in-house compliance team on a permanent basis. This role would see the Compliance Manager work in an established compliance function, providing specialist knowledge and solutions on a range of compliance topics, as well as contributing to an overall compliance culture. This role does not involve people management. The successful Compliance Manager will be required to attend the office in London twice a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in a compliance role within financial services. Experience working within the insurance sector would be advantageous. As the Compliance Manager, your role will include, but is not limited to: Implementing and maintaining a compliant CMS, ensuring appropriate compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Contributing to the further development of the CMS framework Providing compliance advisory to business stakeholders Support the development of training materials on a range of compliance topics and the wider regulatory environment Assisting and advising on the Financial Sanctions risks posed across multiple classes of insurance/reinsurance business, ensuring compliance with all internal standards and external legislation Maintaining an effective Outsourcing framework, preferably around delegated underwriting authorities and multi-layered distribution channels Skills required by the Insurance Company of the Compliance Manager: Ideally professionally qualified as a Chartered Insurer or equivalent qualifications (or making significant progress towards this) Professional experience in a compliance role within the insurance or financial services sector Working knowledge of the practices and expectations of the PRA and FCA Experience in assessing financial sanctions queries relating to complex (re)insurance coverages and via delegated outsourcing arrangements Benefits to the Compliance Manager: On target bonus 25 days annual leave Private medical insurance Employers' contributory pension of 10% Fully paid 6 months family leave This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional looking to join a global business and make an impact from day one.
