We are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join us in our UK HQ in Richmond, London. You will join our Operations team, supporting the UK, USA, Australia and Ireland. You will be an experienced Compliance Manager ensuring Craft Distilling Group adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as providing guidance on compliance matters. You will manage the Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime programs and team members for all companies within the CDG Group. Craft Distilling Group is an international entity, with sites in the UK, USA, Australia currently, with a view to expanding in the future. The key objective of the role is to ensure that the firm complies with its legal and regulatory obligations. What you will do Provide remediation/mitigation plans, strategies and advise of potential new/emerging Compliance risks that require senior management attention. This interaction should be made through a series of management routines as well as the Annual MLRO and Regulatory Compliance Reports and Risk Assessments that will be presented to all key stakeholders. Evaluate the efficiency of workflows and improve them continuously. Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Own the KYC Compliance process. Draft, modify and implement company policies and training materials. Collaborate with internal legal counsel and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations. Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control. Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate. Assume the role as primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and government agencies on all Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime matters in connection with both legal entities. Train (or arrange training) staff in AML KYC checks. Who you are You will ideally have a background in the world of investment, but we are open to different industries. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
