Compliance Manager

will involve keeping track of emerging rules, understanding their impact, and guiding the business to implement them effectively. Working closely with the first line of defence, acting as both a trusted advisor and a helpful challenger. Support will be offered when needed, but also question practices, identify any gaps, and ensure the business takes the right steps to meet regulatory requirements and serve our members well. About you You have strong experience in financial services, along with a commercial outlook, and a proven ability to interpret regulations and provide clear guidance. You are familiar with working in structured project environments, and ideally, you have some project management experience. You understand the demands of regulated environments and either hold relevant professional qualifications or are committed to obtaining them. As an excellent communicator, you have a deep understanding of Conduct Risk, Consumer Duty, and the FCA Handbook. Additionally, your knowledge of lending, general insurance, savings, and payment products will be an asset. About us As a mutual, we’ve always worked together to improve the lives of others.
