We’re currently seeking a Compliance Monitoring Auditor to join our small but impactful compliance monitoring team. If you thrive in a role where every day is different, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of people, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Compliance Monitoring Auditor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring Gama Aviation remains at the forefront of safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal programme audits, base audits, and aircraft inspections, as well as supporting managers in developing and tracking the implementation of corrective action plans. You’ll monitor compliance with regulatory standards such as EASA, UK Air Operations, and Third Country Operator Requirements, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within our Compliance Monitoring Systems. Additionally, you’ll represent the Compliance Monitoring team in meetings and forums, and assist with compliance investigations, reporting, and performance analysis.

This varied and rewarding role offers the chance to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, to uphold the highest standards of compliance and safety. We’re looking for someone with a passion for excellence, a proactive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. If you’re flexible, resilient, and ready to adapt to a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. Travel may be required, sometimes at short notice, with occasional overnight stays.

About us: Gama Aviation is a hugely diverse business that offers much more than perhaps its name would suggest. Yes, we fly but we also save lives, provide mission-critical intelligence, and build systems that deliver decisive advantage.

With operations in the UK, Jersey, Europe and the Middle East, a career with us can offer travel, personal growth opportunities and the ability for long-term progression in a fast-paced and dynamic service industry.

Responsibilities:

Support the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) to ensure that the Compliance Monitoring Programme is properly implemented, maintained, continually reviewed, and improved. Compile and record audit scopes, checklists, and audit reports and identify non-conformities and opportunities for system improvements. Plan and conduct audits and inspections in accordance with the Gama Aviation Compliance Monitoring Programme. Support responsible managers in the development of their corrective action plans. Review corrective action plans for accuracy and effectiveness and offer support to ensure corrective action plans are comprehensive. Track the implementation of corrective action plans to ensure timely completion. Ensure findings raised are closed satisfactorily or escalated to the CMM. Demonstrate relevant knowledge, background, and appropriate experience related to the activities of Gama Aviation, including knowledge and experience in compliance monitoring. Act as the compliance monitoring point of contact for their assigned area of specialty and audits. Support the development and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Systems. Assist with compliance monitoring which includes a feedback system to the accountable manager to ensure corrective action as necessary. Monitor the continued compliance and remain knowledgeable on the requirements of EASA and UK Air Operations and Air Crew Regulations, Third Country Operator Requirements, National Statutory Instruments in Aviation, and the Rules of the Air. Conduct Operational Compliance investigations and projects as required. Assist the CMM in monitoring Compliance Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs), and trending analysis as required. Maintain regulatory compliance with applicable UK CAA regulations in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Programme. Responsible for the correct administration of the compliance database software and online systems. Represent the Compliance Monitoring function at departmental meetings and other forums as required by the CMM. Deputise for the CMM as required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required: Essential:

Prior experience as an auditor or investigator working within a quality management system or compliance monitoring system.
