The role is broad based and involves managing data protection compliance, conducting second-line assurance activities, and providing general support to the Compliance team. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the company's risk management and regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Officer:

Monitor data protection compliance and maintain relevant logs and records Conduct second-line assurance activities, including branch and audit assessments Ensure compliance through monitoring, updating, and maintaining documentation Support the implementation of information governance frameworks Assist in policy and procedure improvements to minimise risk and maintain compliance Required Knowledge and Experience for the Compliance Officer Role:

Knowledge of "three lines of defence" risk management models Awareness of key risk and compliance-related subjects gained within an FCA regulated business Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of oral and written expression Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills Ability to work under pressure and prioritise based on risk and statutory deadlines Our client is open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience.
