In this newly created role, you’ll work closely with the Compliance Team to assist with the development, maintenance and monitoring of Bank of us compliance programs and frameworks to support compliance with current and future regulatory and prudential requirements. This will include: Providing support to the Compliance Manager and Compliance Specialist in all aspects of compliance including administration, record keeping and project work, as required. Acting as the first point of reference for day to day compliance matters, and escalating matters to other team members as required. Assisting the Compliance and Risk teams to enhance the risk appetite and compliance consciousness among internal staff. Providing input to the development, maintenance and update of compliance programs, policies and training in respect to our compliance and prudential obligations. You’ll bring enthusiasm to the role, have a professional manner in which you conduct your duties, the ability to build strong relationships with all teams across the organization, and be eager to learn. Ideally, you will also have previous experience in a corporate environment, knowledge of risk management fundamentals including banking compliance requirements, and a relevant tertiary or formal qualification or professional membership in commerce, risk management, and/or compliance; however, this is not essential. For the role of Compliance Officer, we are offering a base salary starting from $67,275 pa (to be negotiated with the preferred candidate commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience), plus 11.5% superannuation. In addition to this, you will also have the potential to earn
