Inspection of both finished and in-process composite components. Writing of inspection programs within the Polyworks Metrology Suite. Geometric validation of jigs, patterns, moulds and components. Communicate quality assurance reports to internal manufacturing teams in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrate a flexible and understanding approach to the department’s needs. Meet the requirements and demands of the busy periods. Work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure. Maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard. Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous experience within a composite manufacturing environment. A thorough understanding of Polyworks Metrology Suite. Experience working with Romer Arms and Laser Trackers. An understanding of detailed technical drawings. Ability to interpret layup tables. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good understanding of engineering processes. Methodical and thorough approach to your work. Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales. Communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues. Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment. Results orientated and confident in decision-making skills. Enthusiastic and versatile, able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
