Permanent, Days – Monday to Friday We are seeking an experienced composite and laminator team leader to undertake a variety of tasks within the production and prototype environment. A minimum of 5 years experience in composite laminating within Automotive, Aerospace, Motorsport, etc. is preferred. This role combines hands-on composite laminating expertise with team leadership responsibilities. Main Tasks of the Job: Hand laminate tooling and components using materials, core products, and adhesive film. Conduct inspection and quality control of laminated components to ensure they meet customer quality and traceability standards. Report non-conformities and quality-related issues to the Production Engineer. Lead the laminating team, possessing leadership skills, and a keen desire to improve and coach the team. Take a lead on health and safety in the laminating areas. Ensure all team members are properly equipped with and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Work within Health and Safety guidelines at all times. Maintain all company tools and equipment in a safe and clean workable condition. Work proactively to meet production deadlines and resolve issues that may impact the production schedule. Attend management meetings as required to update the status of projects. Work closely with other members of the company to ensure smooth running of the business. To succeed in this role, you will require good communication and leadership skills, the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in correct methods, be a team player, have good timekeeping, and be able to work under pressure. Experience and skill operating computers and MS Office is a plus. This is a good opportunity for someone to integrate into the team environment with constant training and improvement offered.
