Silverstone Park Silverstone Composites delivers high-quality bespoke composite manufacturing solutions, within very tight deadlines, to various trade sectors, including the motorsport industry. We are seeking two skilled Laminators with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the composite industry. The successful candidates will have previous experience of laminating processes for tooling and components with precision, and excellent attention to detail; whilst meeting customer deadlines and maintaining the highest quality standards. This role would suit someone with strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. The key responsibilities of this role include: Preparing patterns and moulds by sealing and applying release agents Undertaking vacuum bagging procedures for tooling and components Operating and loading ovens and/or autoclaves for curing laminated materials Actively participating in manufacturing initiatives to improve workplace efficiency and organisation Maintaining traceability and a safe, clean, and tidy working environment at all times Qualifications and Skills: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Logical reasoning and a pro-active “can do” attitude Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and following laminating manuals Ability to work independently with minimal supervision The benefits of working for us are: A welcoming culture throughout the company Company pension Private healthcare (qualifying period) 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, per year Location: Silverstone Park Innovation Centre Silverstone Park Silverstone Circuit Towcester Northamptonshire NN12 8GX
