Composite Laminator
Our client operates from their state-of-the-art facility in the Wirral, but they also have locations all over the UK and worldwide, specializing in the design and manufacture of components for the aerospace industry.
Desired Requirements:
Experience in laminating across a broad range of products; experience in aerospace is an advantage.
Carrying out work in adherence to technical drawings, internal and external specifications, and laminating instructions as appropriate, ensuring accuracy and process documentation.
Working closely with manufacturing engineering to support the development of standard work instructions and participating in design for manufacture workshops for new product introduction.
Identifying, defining, and supporting the introduction of continuous improvement activities in the area of trimming and assembly.
A practical level qualification (e.g., an NVQ or Apprenticeship in manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical disciplines).
Confidence in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
