• Strong understanding of carbon fibre/composites materials and their properties.
• Hands-on experience with composites processing techniques.
• Practical engineering mindset - able to design.
• Experience contributing to R&D or grant-funded projects.

Confirmed role details

• Process recovered materials into customer-relevant formats (e.g. nonwovens, aligned fibres, compounded materials).
• Support development of the product roadmap based on customer needs.
• Contribute to design of fibre handling and processing stages within pilot operations.
• Build bespoke test rigs, fixtures and experimental setups.
