What the role involves

• Driving continuous improvement using lean tools and techniques, improving efficiency and reducing waste.
• Leading RCCA activities and implementing corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat non‑conformances.
• Developing and maintaining job cards and manufacturing documentation through to production handover.
• Supporting first‑off manufacture and validating processes with production teams.
• Selecting appropriate materials, tooling, fixtures, and jigs for composite manufacturing.
• Delivering manufacturing engineering projects from concept through to full production implementation.

Skills and requirements

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes within a regulated production environment.
• Experience with composite materials and associated manufacturing methods (prepreg, advanced composites, autoclave, layup).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrable problem‑solving capability using structured techniques such as RCCA.
