Trim and Assembly Team Leader

to join our team and drive efficiency on a weekend shift pattern. The

Trim and Assembly Team Leader

will assist shift personnel and Supervisor in the daily operations of the department, offering technical expertise and critical problem-solving skills to meet production and quality targets. Main Responsibilities

Delegate and distribute tasks effectively, ensuring team members are assigned to the appropriate priorities to meet delivery targets. Communicate clear delivery objectives and productivity expectations to optimize resource capabilities. Ensure availability of information, BOM (Bill of Materials), and tools prior to the manufacturing start date. Ensure manufacturing methodologies align with design intent and are fully adhered to. Commit to improving quality while demonstrating a high proficiency in problem-solving techniques. Ensure all manufacturing process and QA documentation are completed and properly recorded during the manufacturing process. Ensure all shift personnel are knowledgeable and proficient in the use of production-supporting hardware and software packages to ensure full process adherence. Ensure maintenance schedules and records are consistently maintained for all key plant equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to strict 5S and LEAN principles. Adhere to data capture processes to ensure compliance with regulations for yourself and colleagues. Enhance the team's skill set and competencies by promoting training, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities. Key Accountabilities

Fulfil all organisational expectations, including but not limited to the following: Understand and work in line with Williams Values & Behaviours, encouraging others to do the same. Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations. Maintain personal high standards of behaviour and conduct, being a positive ambassador for the department. Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation. Work to quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance. Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements. Core Competencies

Strong communication Follow company quality standards within the Department. Manage personal objectives to ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with others within composites and other departments, demonstrating teamwork. Qualifications

Proven experience within Trimming and assembly, preferably in F1. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, with experience in delegating tasks, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience in process optimization, quality control, and continuous improvement is advantageous. Proficiency in relevant production processes, tools, and software; understanding of health and safety regulations and lean manufacturing principles. Experienced in composite repair techniques.
