What the role involves

  • Maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings for lighting products and project-specific requirements.
  • Preparing technical documentation and product specifications.
  • Supporting production teams by providing accurate engineering information and resolving drawing-related queries.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding technical specifications and component details.
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation are correctly controlled and updated through revision management procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives relating to manufacturing efficiency and documentation accuracy.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven experience in a CAD Engineering or CAD Technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience within the lighting, electrical, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC manufacturing, and assembly processes.
