What the role involves
- Maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings for lighting products and project-specific requirements.
- Preparing technical documentation and product specifications.
- Supporting production teams by providing accurate engineering information and resolving drawing-related queries.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding technical specifications and component details.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are correctly controlled and updated through revision management procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives relating to manufacturing efficiency and documentation accuracy.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in a CAD Engineering or CAD Technician role within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience within the lighting, electrical, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC manufacturing, and assembly processes.
