What the role involves

• Operate and programme CNC turning machines to manufacture precision engineered components.
• Create, edit and modify CNC programmes to meet engineering specifications.
• Carry out inspections using measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
• Perform deburring, finishing and quality checks on completed components.
• Manufacture jigs and fixtures to support machining operations.
• Ensure machinery is maintained in line with maintenance schedules and operating procedures.

Skills and requirements

• At least 2 year’s experience as a CNC Turner, CNC Programmer, CNC Setter/Operator or CNC Machinist.
• Experience manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances.
