Computer Science Teacher in Bristol Salary: Competitive Hours: Full-time Contract: Temporary Location: Bristol Secondary School

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the world of technology, develop their coding skills, and understand the impact of computer science on society.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective computer science lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles. Develop and implement a curriculum that covers key areas of computer science, including programming, algorithms, data structures, and cybersecurity. Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging goals. Maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel supported and motivated. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the computer science curriculum and share best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and integrate them into teaching practices.

Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification and experience in a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for computer science education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational trends and technologies.
