We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team at a specialist Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) secondary school in Liverpool. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position starting in March 2025. About the School

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with SEMH needs, fostering resilience, creativity, and academic success. They are committed to equipping their students with essential life skills and the confidence to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students aged 11-16. Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEMH needs. Foster a supportive classroom environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with our dedicated staff team to develop individual education plans (IEPs). Inspire students to develop their digital literacy and programming skills. Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Specialization in Computer Science or a related subject. Experience (or willingness to work) with students with SEMH needs. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Passion, patience, and creativity to engage and motivate learners. What We Offer
